ELIXIR 2017 …. AKSHAR PARVA 2017

JOIN US AS WE CELEBRATE 25 YEARS

Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow, on 19th August, 2017 had organised its English and Hindi Literary Festival…..Elixir – 2017 and Akshar Parva – 2017,respectively …………..celebrating its 25 years. Nearly 18 schools from the city participated in the 3rd chapter of Seth M.R. Jaipuria School’s biennial Literary Festival,  and witnessed an exciting Literary Day.

As the legend goes, the proverbial Elixir of life, also known as the elixir of immortality and sometimes equated with the philosopher’s stone, is a mythical potion that supposedly grants the drinker eternal life or eternal youth. Here at Elixir, we followed, a different version of that legend. The Elixir of knowledge is a realistic concoction of ideals, passion and intellectualism of a person’s eternal bliss and literary fervor.

Ever since its inception in 2013, ELIXIR has carved a niche for itself when it comes to being one of the most innovative and resplendent of all events. It is here that the dissemination of the avant-garde takes place, coming from the most creative of all minds in the respective fields.

This year, we also for the first time held the Hindi Literary festival………Akshar Parva – 2017. The grail of the festival was to encourage study of Hindi Literature among the youth. Both the fest  had a plethora of events, spanning across the ambit of almost every literary field possible.The participants were tested in literary skills, theatrics and not to forget the oratory tact which many of them boasting as their primary ‘arrow’ in the literal quiver of all sorts!

This entirely student organized event ensured that it brought the creme de la creme out of all the participants, whilst providing them with a platform to showcase their intrinsic talent and flair.

The participants mesmerized the audiences and competed with great zeal.

The Elixir – 2017 trophy was won by La Martiniere Girls’ College. The Akshar Parv – 2017 trophy was won by Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, since we were the host school, the trophy was awarded to Study Hall School.The overall trophy was lifted by La Martiniere Girls’ College.

This one day festival was a huge success.
