Children’s Day was celebrated at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow on 14th November, 2017 with effervescence and exhilaration. The teachers presented a programme full of entertainment with lot of singing and dancing, for the children A fun filled day, the celebration began from the Kindergarden section. The children came dressed in fancy dresses with all joy and happiness. Different races line count the balls, flat race, fill the basket were the few races the tiny tots ran with full energy. A small skit-Why Hippo has a Short Tail was enacted by the teachers. Story telling sessions, dancing and uncountable activities……..children enjoyed to their fullest. The middle-school sections enjoyed a game of ‘Tug-of-war’ where students as well as the teachers from all the four houses had a good game. Not only did the students enjoyed, the teachers also participated with equal zeal and fervor.An art competition was also organized on this occasion. Students enjoyed the play of colours and paints. Their paintings on `Save water’ were appreciable.
This was followed by a hurdle race which was conducted class-wise. Students had to cross two hurdles followed by a net and the last stage was where they were supposed to solve few questions and run back to the finishing line.
The senior school students had a friendly match of cricket between the teachers and the students. Remembering their `Chacha Nehru”, children enjoyed the day with lot of fun, frolic and sweets.
