Teachers’ Day Celebration

Recognising the effort teachers put in all through the year, the students at Jaipuria decided to celebrate Teacher’s Day on a high note.

As early as 7:00 in the morning, the students were done decorating their classes with colourful streamers and balloons to welcome their teachers.

The program started at 8:00 AM and was inaugurated by lighting the lamp and garlanding a picture of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by the Principal, Mrs. Anju Wal and the two Vice Principals, Dr. Vidyarthi and Mrs. Biswas. The students conducted a quiz and JAM session for the teachers who very sportingly participated in all the games and soon after that the teachers were given titles. The students showed their gratitude to their mentors by dedicating meaningful songs to them including an electrifying Band performance by the senior section. The teachers then proceeded to the school auditorium for a celebration that included melodious songs, dance performances and skits in English and Hindi presented by the teachers.

Post lunch all the teachers and students were all set to witness the Prime Ministers’ address to the students and teachers all over India in an interactive session in which he emphasized on making The Clean India drive a national mission.

He congratulated the teachers saying India has the best teachers in the world.

Mr. Modi spoke to the students highlighting the vital role a good teacher plays in moulding students into responsible citizens.

Hon. Prime Minister stressed upon Girl Child Education and gave a message to the youngsters to work hard and take the country forward. He also stated that teachers should treat all students without discrimination and that he needed their support in making our country the best in the world.
