Seth M.R. Jaipuria School shed million tear drops of pearls as it bid adieu to the distinguished class of 2014 on the 27th of February 2014, the day of the farewell assembly. The morning prayer began usually with a shloka and the prayers.
As the customary assembly was punctuated with a wish of a happy trail for the outgoing class and a speech, a short musical depicting the various stages of school was staged. Then, the head boy took over the stage almost completely and floored the audience even as he thanked them. Sahastrajeet Singh of class 12 came right after him and was tremendous in expressing his emotions. A “shaayari” was followed soon after that with the stretch of a banner and what is called “raining cats and dogs” but it being a confetti.
The Principal , Mrs. Padma Srivastava and Dr Parul Mishra were very kind to embellish the occasion with jewels of their parting sentiments.
The assembly culminated with the last shloka. It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
