First Alumni Meet  2016 – 2017

Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow welcomed its alumni students and former teachers at the first Alumni Meet  2016 – 2017, held on 24th December, 2016. Holding the first ever Alumni Meet on a landmark occasion for Seth M.R. Jaipuria School which completes 25 years of its foundation in April, 2017.More than 400 alumni from far off distances attended the grand function when they once again returned to their Alma Mater and relived the many distinct memories that they had built together.Every institution traces its success to those who graduate from its portals. An account of Jaipuria’s legacy would have been incomplete unless the achievements made by the Alumni that form the backbone of this institution, are chronicled. The Alumni batch leaders lighted the ‘floating lanterns’ to bring in good luck to their school. In the words of John Adams “If your actions inspire to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader,. These words characterizes the Principal Mrs. Promini Chopra’s whose efforts brought this Alumni meet come to a fruition. It was a great moment of pride for the Jaipuria family to have its students on the campus from the first batch of 1997. Shuchi Mathur running a Design Company ‘Aekadha’, Rajeev Jain, Director of Pricewaterhouse Cooper Management Consultancy, Ishwar Chand Goyal, a successful Chartered Accountant, Kunal Verma, a well established businessman. Rahul Singh, Assistant Vice-President at Deutsche Bank, Singapore from 1992 year joined the school in its founding year had specially flown from Singapore to attend the Alumni Meet. From 2008 batch we had Akshay Mittal, Software engineer at Facebook, California, Rishab Singh, Founder CEO, Purplehide, Kinshup Gupta, pursuing higher studies at Purdue University.  Anshula Awasthi, a practicing doctor, Shantanu Mishra, pursuing MBA at Harvard Business School from 2009 batch were full of memories. The highlights of the cultural programme presented  were applauded by one and all. The instrumental symphony, a 100 piece school orchestra, the kathak and the folk dances were a show of poise and stance. The audience were mesmerised by the grandeur performance. The evening was one to be cherished and brought back the nostalgia. They moved ahead on their separate ways, but with a promise to make this an annual affair.
