Athletic Meet – 2017

Athletics and sports have been an essential component at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School. Continuing with the practice of holding events,the ASISC Zonal Athletic Meet- 2017 was held at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow from 30th August to 1st September, 2017.Seth M.R. Jaipuria  was host to 15 schools from Lucknow and  from other cities of Uttar Pradesh. Nehru once said ‘play the game with the spirit of the game’. Life is full of failures and success. When we play a game too, we may either win or lose. “Sportsman spirit” is the spirit of accepting one’s success with humility. Participants took part in various events……Discuss throw,……….Shot-put…….Javelin throw High Jump….Triple Jump…..Long Jump………..100 Meters, Relay Race, 4 x 100 Meters Race, 4 x 1000 Meters and many more races.The competition was held both in Senior and Junior categories.  The winners of the 1st and 2nd positions move to the State Round of Competitions. Congratulations!!
