Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow was host to the First Jaipuria Cultural Festival, Crescendo 2018, from 4rth to the 5th of August, 2018.Crescendo was organised to define the zeal for excellence that is there in Jaipuria. On the theme of ‘Celebrating cultures of India’s North East’ and ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’, events ranging from debates, art &craft; best out of waste, traditional art, painting without brushes, art speak, educational quiz, and many more.
No fancy tools to do panting, recycling and reusing some waste material created fantastic and usable products. Not only this, skills based debates, bringing out the creativity in each participant through the language of colours and strokes of the brushes, all fought it all. Art was seen as a tool to encompass all the development domains, creativity at its zenith when a small piece of drawing brought out a great message. Singing events saw many nightingales that showcased the feel of the singer and the connect with the audience which touched their hearts. When words fail, music speaks.The language of music spread like wild fire which transformed the audience to the world of school band.

NAV SRIJAN, a school run by by Mrs.Anjali Jaipuria, the chairperson of Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow which began in 2009 is an English medium educational initiative for the underprivileged children to discover their potential and provides free worthy education to lead them towards a brighter future.The students participated in large numbers in almost all the events, which was remarkable. The confidence and grit that they showed is much appreciated. The prizes won by them has made them as achievers for themselves.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Mr. Shrivats Jaipuria and Mrs. Mehak Jaipuria. The Chief Guest for the evening was the renowned dancer Ms. Malini Awasthi Ji. A breadth taking dance performance by a dance troop from Purulia, West Bengal with the use of their traditional instruments was a pleasant watch. The dance that they formed was the ‘Chhau dance’ which is a semi classical Indian dance with martial, tribal and folk origins.
The Principals of the Franchise schools were the guests for the occasion. The esteemed panel of judges for the various events were accomplished teachers in their field who were invited to Crescendo – 2018.
Seth M.R. Jaipuria School won the overall championship of Crescendo – 2018 Congratulations !!

Crescendo – 2018, Celebrated Potential with Raising Possibilities,the spirit of competitiveness will soon transform the students from what they are to what they can be in the coming times to become a landmark in the legacy of Jaipuria.
