“The way ahead lies in pursuing, not pressurizing children”
– Narendra Modi
Come January and students start getting worried about their exams. Examination stress seems to become the only constant and starts weighing the students down. What better a way to beat the stress than to be counseled and guided and who better a person than the Prime Minister of the country to do that!
On a cold winter morning, more than 1500 students of Seth M.R. Jaipuria School came together in different parts of the campus to listen to the Prime Minister’s Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020 program.
The students, from classes 7th onwards, listened with great intent as the eloquent Prime Minister Honourable Narendra Modi held an open discussion with children from across the nation on examination related topics. Students from our school were seen identifying themselves with some of the questions posed and were eager to have them answered by the PM.
The Prime Minister spoke at length on a number of topics such as the importance of embracing technology and yet not letting it overpower us, the role of extra-curricular activities in the overall development and how to tackle exam stress.
We are grateful to have such a leader who despite having a very busy schedule, always finds time to connect with the youth of the country!
