At Jaipuria, we encourage peer – peer bonding and provide many opportunities to facilitate it. Keeping this in mind, the school conducted a very special event; one like no other.
Upon passing out Class 5, the children officially enter the middle-school and what better a reason for celebration! Class 4 students gave a grand farewell to their ‘seniors’ – the passing out Class 5 students. Enthusiastic little students geared up to put up a number of beautifully choreographed performances for their role models. The junior students sang ‘Teri Mitti Mein Mil Jaava’ and ‘Dama Dam Mast Qalandar’ while the school band played the songs to perfection. There was a dance performance on a medley of popular Holi songs as well as a performance on a traditional marwadi dance.
To show their gratitude towards the support staff, the students presented them with a small goody bag and thanked them for their relentless work and care. So eager were the juniors to make this day memorable for their seniors that they even arranged for snacks for them – cake, chips, biscuits and drinks.
It was such a delight to see the bonding between these students as they all climbed onto the stage to dance on their favourite songs. Here are a few glimpses from the event’s festivities.
