Each year, 5th June is celebrated as the World Environment Day where children and adults alike come together to spread awareness about protecting our environment and take conscious action to do their bit.
This year, our students from Playgroup to Senior School celebrated World Environment Day by planting trees, writing poems, making crafts out of recycled objects, making presentations, feeding stray animals and also by learning about great environmentalists of our times such as Sunderlal Bahuguna.
The topic for the morning assembly too was Nurture the Nature where students spoke about their viewpoints, importance of sustainable development and the measures undertaken by them. Our Principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra also presented her views on how humans must learn three lessons from Nature – Acceptance, Collaboration & Liberation.
It is rightly said, the responsibility of taking care of our environment is ours alone – yours as much as mine.
