Technology allows students to travel the world, both in time and space.
Over the past few years, the virtual field trip has evolved into a dynamic, interactive, immersive experience that transports students virtually anywhere in the world to explore in real time the sights and wonders of the world around them.
An online virtual tour to Singapore was planned for our little Jaipurians of LKG and UKG in the month of September. Students were geared up in their travel wear and were ready with passports and tickets to board the flight to Changi Airport. From checking in at the Marina Bays Sands Hotel, taking cabs and sightseeing, they managed everything on their own.
We visited the Night Safari, Merlion Park, Universal Studios and the famous Singapore Zoo. Students also learnt about the Lantern Festival and made paper lanterns. No vacation is complete without shopping and children bought souvenirs for their family too.
Participating in virtual trips encourages children to become deeply engaged with real time learning. Virtual trips create enriching, interactive experiences that cater to students of all learning styles and expose them to diverse perspectives.
