Engaging in research fosters critical thinking and analytical skills through hands-on learning. It expands knowledge and understanding of a chosen field outside the classroom.
Students of Grade 3 collected information on birds and presented it in the form of projects of their choice. This exercised their creative selves and also boosted their confidence. Further, believing in the words of the Dalai Lama, ‘compassion as the wish to see others free from suffering’, motivated our children to make bird baths for their tiny feathered friends.
They made us believe that the future of this planet is surely bright. After all, these little torch bearers of humanity are there to light this world with love, compassion, empathy and care.
