A matter of high prestige, our Art teacher, Mr. Ashwani Kumar Prajapati was honoured by the Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation at Kalanand 2021-22.
His art piece ‘Friendship’, made in steel and glass medium, was displayed at the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. The exhibition also included works of several emerging artists of India.
“This sculpture raises awareness to the people to protect our feathered friends. Birds are God’s natural drones; we must conserve this golden treasure.”
Mr. Prajapati was felicitated with a certificate and a merit grant of twenty thousand rupees. His creation was also sold at the exhibition for sixty two thousand rupees.
