Our Junior school curriculum encourages inquiry and exploration, and develops children's competence in various skills - reading, writing, listening, speaking, problem-solving, observation, and use of information and technology. The wide range of curricular and co-curricular opportunities offered helps instill in children confidence and discipline. The focus on developing communication skills helps them appreciate the value of education, as it reflects in their ability to express themselves, in addition to developing pragmatic skills.

The syllabus for the junior school is based on the CICSE curriculum

We focus on integration of knowledge, development of critical thinking, problem solving, scholastic skills and value based education. Such a learning environment encourages the students to enjoy lessons, try out new things and to think creatively and independently.

The approach of the pedagogy for classes LKG, UKG 1 and 2 is ‘Teacher –Led’ and for classes 3, 4 and 5 is ‘In Transition’. Age-appropriate concepts and skills are identified, so that the understanding of the child develops gradually from self to the surroundings (near to far). The values and life skills are not developed in isolation and are not ‘add on’ activities, rather, these are too, developed in an integrated and infused manner. A range of activities like classroom discussions, case studies, field visits, surveys, hands-on experiences, experimentation, model making, poster making, slogan writing, etc. are incorporated into the teaching learning process. To strengthen the emotional quotient of the students various activities like positive feeling, share a meal, gratitude box, self- hug and silence time are practiced. Co scholastic skills for classes 2-5, (thinking, social and emotional) are also enhanced and strengthened during the teaching learning process.

The motto of our school is ‘conscious transformation” We believe that self-awareness is the key to joy and peace within and around us.

Our lessons for Kindergarten curriculum are designed with utmost care and attention to detail. They focus to help children identify themselves as unique individuals, understand different emotions and develop a positive relationship with their peers. Each lesson plan focuses on the four major areas of development i.e. socio-emotional, cognitive, physical & creative. Our curriculum approaches are tailored to each individual child's development and present needs.

Stemming from an innate belief that education is not about schooling and academics; Jaipuria School aims to nurture young minds who care not just about immediate concerns of tests and marks. Instead it hopes to seed an aspirational belief in impressionable minds in order to enable all-round conscious transformation of mind, body and soul. It aspires to create self-thinking, reflective individuals who have the courage to stop, think and reflect at every step of their educational journey. It visualizes learning as a matter of inquiry where the learner is able to question, seek answers, challenge opinions, draw conclusions on a journey in his/her quest for knowledge. Therefore, this would mean that the trigger for learning and quest for knowledge needs to be stimulated from within and the motivation to learn cannot solely rely on external factors such as exams and tests.
